Girlguiding Radnorshire are based in the old Radnorshire County within Powys, Mid Wales. We are part of Girlguiding which has youth groups Rainbows, Brownies, Guides & Rangers
Girlguiding is the leading charity for girls and young women in the UK. We build girls’ confidence and raise their aspirations. We give them the chance to discover their full potential and encourage them to be a powerful force for good. We give the a space to have fun. There are many sections to Girlguiding accepting girls and women from the age of 5 year upwards. In 2013 Girlguiding had over 546,000 members.
Guides is open to girls aged 10 - 14 years, Rangers open to young women aged 14-19 years. They get involved in everything – from adventure sports and performing arts to travelling and taking part in community action projects.
