ARP is a partnership of seven organisations aiming to promote and ensure you know your rights and have the support you need to claim them. They are the Welsh Refugee Council (WRC), Asylum Justice (AJ), BAWSO, City of Sanctuary (COS), Displaced People in Action (DPIA), Ethnic Youth Support Team (EYST) and Tros Gynnal Plant (TGP).
People can get
• one-to-one information, advice and support via a face-to-face meeting, the telephone or the internet with an interpreter if needed,
• to know your rights and support to claim these rights.
Professionals can:
• better understand the needs of asylum seekers
Support Services for:
Money or Payment problems
Housing or Accommodation Problems
Finding a Solicitor
Physical or Mental Health
Destitution
Bullying, Discrimination or Hate crime
Immigration, Legal Advice and Representation (if you cannot get legal aid)
Disputing your age (if you are under 18, but have been assessed as being over 18)
Forced Marriage, Trafficking and Modern-Day Slavery
Volunteering
Awareness Raising
