Chariotts has a statement of Values. People with disabilities have the right to the same human value as anyone else: to live like other people in the community, be treated as individuals, help according to thier needs, a proper quality of life: the right to work, to education, to travel etc. People are restricted as much by social constraints as by thier disabilities."" Lack of accessible transport can have a detrimental effect on all these values and in particular severely limit a persons quality of life. Charriotts is just one way of trying to tackle this. It is the aim of Chariotts to help people with disabilities to retain or obtain independence through the provision of appropriate and reliable transport. All our drivers are volunteers who receive special training. Anyone who has a disability and lives within Wrexham County Borough Council can become a Chariotts member. Members make a contribution towards the cost of a journey.
