Property Advice Service

Dealing with property matters can be daunting. We provide independent, ethical advice and support to charities and community groups. Groups can access free property advice from EPF.

How to use the Service
There are three main ways you can use the Property Advice Service:
1. Access our online Property Advice Resources - free to access and use, for jargon-free advice covering buying, renting, leasing and managing property.

2. Our advisors are available to talk over the phone or face-to-face or through email exchanges. We can:
- diagnose your property problem
- highlight your options and signpost further information and support
- refer you to a professional for specialist advice
Contact us to speak to an advisor.

Initial support from our Property Advisers is available free of at the point of delivery to the organisations with lowest income and greatest need. This element of free support is supported by our grant funders. When you contact the Foundation, you will be informed whether your organisation qualifies for grant-funded support.

3. Get a free referral to a property professional. You may need assistance from a professional such as a commercial property surveyor or solicitor. We can refer you to a member of our Register of property professionals, an independent register of reputable property professionals who provide specialist advice and services to the Foundation’s Property Advice Service clients.
Our Register members have experience of working with charities and community organisations, work to an ethical charter and can often provide discounts on their fees.
