Quiz Group

The group meets on the 4th Thursday at 2:00 pm in Julia's house. Average attendance is around 6 or 7 and would welcome new members to join us for an entertaining afternoon. Last year the group met for eleven sessions during the year at various venues, ranging from the Resource Centre to the Fire Station, and finally to Stradey Park Avenue (at the kind invitation of Mrs Julia Evans). Subjects covered have included "pot luck", "Geography" (very suitable for cruise addicts!), "food and drink", the essential "general knowledge" and finishing on 26th November with a couple of Christmas and seasonal tests, one of which was set by a member of the group - and the quizmaster did not come top in that one! We rarely do sports questions, but hope to include "music and musicals" in the New Year.
