Swansea Law Clinic is part of the Hillary Rodham Clinton School of Law at Swansea University. It benefits the local community by offering free initial advice and assistance to members of the public about legal problems.
We currently offer Zoom and face to face appointments on Monday mornings.
We can help with:
landlord and tenant disputes
freehold and leasehold disputes
relationship breakdown
employment issues
consumer issues
equality issues
benefits advice
immigration and asylum advice (OISC Level One)
We also run a Legal Aid Exceptional Case Funding clinic which will assist you if you are outside the scope of legal aid but feel that you have a right under human rights legislation or European Union law but would otherwise be outside the scope of legal aid and the case is too complex for you to represent yourself. However, please note that financial and merits eligibility tests are applied by the Legal Aid Agency to legal aid applications.
