The Parish Trust Community Choir

The Parish Trust Community Choir is open for anyone to join, and aims to be a space to make music whilst creating community at the same time. Singing and being in choirs are known to improve people’s mental and social wellbeing, and this is something we want to encourage. Interested in feeling better in yourself? Want to make friends and make music? You’re in the right place…
Rehearsals are Monday evenings (term-time) from 7:00pm until 8:30pm.
What sort of music do we sing? The choir will have a broad repertoire as it builds up its library of music. We're hoping to keep the music accessible and well known, from music of the theatre to pop/rock, and spiritual music too. Do I need to audition? No! This is an un-auditioned choir, and we encourage people to join no matter their ability. There will be a mix of people with a range of musical ability but there's something about a large group coming together to sing which makes a beautiful sound. So please don't feel nervous!
