By bringing people together to read great literature aloud we are improving well-being, reducing social isolation and building stronger communities across the UK and beyond. You will be responsible for delivering 1:1 Shared Reading sessons, to enable an isolated person to participate in a weekly shared reading experience using novels, short stories and poems.

You must be able to: 
•	Read aloud clearly in a one-to-one context (training will be given)
•	Be sensitive to people’s emotional needs
•	Be patient with those who are unable to communicate clearly 
•	Work as part of a team of one-to-one readers
•	Represent TRO in a professional manner
•	Work according to all volunteer policies and procedures.
