Since being founded in 2008 we are proud to announce that the Thorne Mason Trust hs now raised over £40,000.
When Mike Mason was diagnosed with his illness he didn't know where to turn to for help. He also realised how much his family needed support as well as himself. Thinking of others, he set up the Thorne Mason Trust in order to provide more support and information for people in Pembrokeshire who were affected by a brain tumour or cancer, raise awareness and raise funding for research into brain tumours, an illness that had hit his family more than once.
Thanks to our kind supporters we are now able to use the money we have raised to help people in Pembrokeshire who are affected by brain tumours or cancer and to fund vital research into brain tumours. When Mike founded the Thorne Mason Trust in 2008 he had a clear 'vision' for the charity and thanks to your donations we now able to work towards achieving his aims.
We are fortunate to have a great team of volunteers on board, which means our running costs are very little. Therefore the majority of the money raised goes directly to helping individual people and sponsoring specific days of research, really making a difference to the lives of brain tumour and cancer sufferers.
We offer a range of services to help support people suffering from cancer and brain tumours. As the The Thorne Mason Trust is a small charity we are proud to be able to provide support to suit the needs of individuals. Some examples of the services we can provide include the following listed on our website via the link below.
