Wildernest Care Farm CIC

Wildernest Care Farm CIC is a day provision for young people and adults with additional learning needs (ALN) and autism. We offer regular, weekly sessions for participants as well as one-off sessions for local organisations and groups.

Wildernest offers access to horticulture, animal care, craft and tool use. Sessions are carefully tailored to an individual’s needs and interests. Sessions are structured with a choice of activity available within them, offering routine and flexibility at the same time. There are opportunities for sensory regulation through walks, trampoline, swings and sensory toys. Visual cues and timetables are available throughout sessions with access to feeling and choice boards.

The Care Farm is registered with Social Farms and Gardens and has been awarded the Green Care Quality Mark. We offer AQA unit awards which cover a huge range of topics - from independent living skills to cleaning out chickens!
