Age Connects Torfaen advocacy is designed to support service users across our range of services. This valuable service provides support to access information that is understandable to the individual enabling them to continue to make their own decisions.
Advocacy support empowers the service user to have their voice heard.
Why might an Advocate be needed?
* Sometimes due to memory loss the individual might have difficulties in retaining information, which makes decisions difficult.
* A person might feel they need help but are unsure how to go about it.
