After school learning club for children at Cardiff and Vale College

ACE Cardiff is an educational charity working in the Butetown and Grangetown areas of Cardiff to deliver learning sessions to children aged 7 to 11.

Our sessions support children in English, maths and science through fun learning activities. Our aim is to increase the children's enjoyment of learning and to build their confidence and team work skills. Each session is led by one of our qualified tutors and supported by several volunteers. There will usually be one adult for every three children, and sometimes even one-to-one.

Activities include maths based games, story based activities and creative sessions designing or making things. Children will be offered the chance to read one-to-one with a volunteer. We also have regular guest visits from organisations such as Techniquest.
