BAWSO - specialist services for BME communities - Gwent

Bawso delivers specialist support services to people from Black and Ethnic Minority (BME) background who are affected by domestic abuse and other forms of abuse including Female Genital Mutilation, Forced Marriage, Honour Based Violence, Human Trafficking and Prostitution. We provide Advice services, safe houses, refuges and floating support.

The service is designed as time limited support to people/families who have a housing support need in relation to domestic abuse to live within their own communities and maintain their own tenancies. The project is for people from a Black and Ethnic Minority (BME) background who feel they are not able to access mainstream domestic abuse services.
