The Club offers opportunities for people to take part in the recreational sport of canoeing, and for those who wish the competitive sport of slalom; sprint; white water racing; surf and polo. There are 80 members who are composed of family membership, junior, unwaged, retired and those who compete.
Training takes place from two venues in Merthyr Tydfil, the indoor sessions are in Aberfan Leisure Centre and the outdoor sessions are on the lake at Parc Taf Bargoed.
