Our Befriending Circle aims to reduce isolation for people living with or affected by diabetes by connecting peers, via email and telephone, who may have similar experiences of living with the condition.
The Befriending Circle is being piloted in Carmarthen as it is a large area with many places in quite isolated locations. This can mean that people living with diabetes don’t always have the opportunity to speak with others who are living with the condition.
