Dyfed Drug and Alcohol Service

An all-in-one substance misuse service for
Ceredigion, Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. DDAS provides a single point of contact telephone
line and email address for referrals and advice. The
single point of contact is available for use by drug
and alcohol users, families and professionals. All
referrals into Dyfed’s substance misuse treatment
system can come through this service.

FAMILY & CARER SUPPORT
The families and loved ones of people who use
substances can need as much support as the users
themselves. This can include direct family, carers,
neighbours, friends, support staff and anyone
else in the network around the person affected.

TRAINING AND
PROFESSIONAL ADVICE
DDAS offers training and support to health
and social care staff and a range of other
professional agencies working with substance
users. This includes:
• basic substance use training
• brief interventions for substance users
• advice, information and guidance on
specific substances
• ongoing consultancy and support

DDAS operates from a wide variety of local bases
across Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire and
Ceredigion. We also operate from community
