East Radnor Home Support offers practical support and assistance.
The service is open to anyone aged 50 + living in Presteigne, Knighton and the widder community encompassing the rural villages.
The service is free of charge but due to it being funded by Powys County Council you must live within Powys to qualify for the service.
Services offered include welfare monitoring, assistance with benefit claims, help making appointments, referrals to other agencies, emergency shopping & prescriptions and general help where needed.
We also provide an emergency response to Care Lines via Delta Wellbeing. Staff are on call 24hrs a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. You need to have a care line to access this service but staff can assist with this. There is a small monthly charge for this part of the service.
