A group aimed at rejuvenating life back into Maerdy and surrounding area by rebuilding the Maerdy Branch line and utilising the old Colliery site.
We are hoping to rebuilt, along with relevant tracks and sidings are Maerdy Colliery down to Tylorstown.
A heritage building will be built on the old colliery site, where modern facilities like a cafe, modern playground, bicycle hire and a narrow gauge railway will be built to help attract tourism and attract interest into the project.
