A rural youth organisation for young people aged 10 to 28 years old. Each club sets its own itinerary of weekly activities, which have included - stock judging, fancy dress, trips, talks, visits from police dogs, face painting, sausage making, film nights, rugby matches and other activities to suit members' varied interests.
At County level, organised events and activities include - rally competitions, Eisteddfod, pantomimes, cabaret, Royal Welsh show, Pembrokeshire County Show, Queen's Ball, dances and other social events. There is also an opportunity to take part in competitions against national clubs throughout the UK.
The YFC is a rural youth organisation that has diversity in its members - you don't have to own a pair of wellies and overalls to become a member or be a part of this community, although, for some activities, it helps!!
There are 12 local clubs across Pembrokeshire - Brawdy/Hayscastle, Clunderwen, Eglwyswrw, Fishguard, Hermon, Keyston, Llawhaden, Llysyfran, Martletwy, South Pembs, Templeton and Tiers Cross.
Prospective members should contact the Pembrokeshire YFC office who can signpost to the nearest club as each operates on different nights, to suit their members.
