Wales Asylum Seeker and Refugee Doctors (WARD) group - DPIA

The Wales Refugee and Asylum Seeker Doctors (WARD) Group assists doctors living in Wales who are refugees or asylum seekers to gain GMC registration, and restart their career within the UK NHS.

We provide our WARD Group members with support including:

- Weekly IELTS/OET lessons
- PLAB resources, course and support group
- Exam payments for IELTS/OET, PLAB 1 and PLAB 2
- Assistance with GMC registration
- 6 month paid supernumerary placement once GMC registered
