Construction Youth Trust is a charity whose aim is to inspire and enable young people to overcome barriers and discover a career in construction. Each year we work with over 4,000 young people; many of whom are the hardest to reach. They are from challenging backgrounds including young offenders, care leavers, the long-term unemployed and also those who are just unaware of the opportunities available to them within the construction industry.
With the support of a number of major construction companies, Construction Youth Trust achieves this by delivering two main programmes which provide practical training and education as well as careers advice; Budding Builders which focuses on the trades, and Budding Brunels which focuses on the professions.
