Enbarr Enterprises is a company established in 2015 but which has developed strongly to become one of the largest advocates for both organisations and those at risk within our communities who are in need of extra support.
Research shows, your cause is strengthened when you have people with lived experience involved in the process, and even more credit when they are leading it.
The company began as a commercial operation by its Director, Vicki Roskams, an award-winning Disabled Entrepreneur who thrives to succeed by overcoming barriers at every turn. Vicki created a unique employment and training solution offering a long-term sustainable income for those in the community whom are deemed “at risk”.
Enbarr also ensures in their aims and services to inspire future generations by supporting many organisations, groups and individuals whom are looking at taking their first steps into business through a series of support and mentoring routeways in partnership with academia and other key organisations.
Enbarr Foundation CIC
In August 2017 they opened the doors to Enbarr Foundation CIC to focus further on supporting those most vulnerable and hardest to reach into employment or encouraging them to become socially more active.
Vicki has created a high-quality brand and business genre which is helping organisations to become more “Disability Confident” and to support the “Armed Forces Covenant” as well as delivering an outstanding business model to support those cohorts most at risk, as well as those whom need extra support within our local communities to enable them to reach their dreams and aspirations.
The key to Enbarr’s success is its ability to meet the varying demands in an ever changing dynamic and to follow the lead of the six outputs set out in the Future Generations Act 2015.
Through their interactive employability and reskilling provision, they are hoping to transform every part of the community which has been impacted by cuts in local authority funding and the loss of community buildings at a time when individuals and businesses need that support more than ever.

The development and performance of the business and team led to it winning numerous awards, the most recent being:

Vicki herself was shortlisted and became runner up in the “Everywoman Awards” – Gaia Award in 2018 for the whole of the UK for her refreshing approach to Diversity and Training, and Enbarr was runner up in this year’s RIDI awards for both Disability Confidence, and Disability Specialist organisation for the whole of the UK.
The Next Chapter - John Summers Building
Always wanting to be challenged, and support the local area, the Enbarr Foundation are now on a new mission to resurrect the John Summers Building (old Steelworks) in Shotton alongside the community as a source of pride and industry for local people; whilst ensuring that ALL people can access STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) skills and employment opportunities and once again be part of a thriving local community.
Through this new project to create a Community Space at John Summers, Enbarr aspire for it to become a “Good Samaritan”, so that its work can have a ripple effect for good outwards into the communities and further afield, and to promote CSR into the business community, allowing a balance for profit making activities with those that benefit society.
As with any successful business, the key to this lies in the quality and performance of its staff and volunteers.
Enbarr has a team of qualified, experienced and dedicated staff both within the Recruitment and Training industry, but most importantly they have come from a range of backgrounds and have lived, so can empathise with most situations and understand people’s journeys.
The company can offer competitive prices for all its services but most of all it can offer you the service you deserve, not just want.
