Shalom House is a non-denominational day centre and support service for any individual living in Pembrokeshire living with a Palliative, Cancer and Life Limiting diagnosis.
We aim to make our patients' lives more comfortable that they would otherwise have been and to enable them to do the things that matter to them and to live well. We offer day respite at our centre in St Davids and when funding allows, we have short term (Mon to Fri) respite stays. We can also support with end-of-life care at home and we are lucky to have two dedicated Counsellors to further support attendees and their loved ones.
Our dedicated Nurses can offer symptom management and advice and can signpost and support accessing other vital services throughout diagnosis.
