Thanks to funding support from Bridgend County Borough, we are pleased to announce that we will be running our Halo’s Carers Respite Programme in Bridgend Halo Life Centre starting Tuesday 17th February at 2-4pm.

Our Carers Respite Programme offers unpaid carers of people living with dementia and memory loss the opportunity to take part in a range of exercise, relaxation, and wellbeing sessions, along with access to Halo Leisure fitness facilities.Our Carers Respite Programme includes holistic therapy workshops, led by an Accredited Member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists, where carers can learn practical stress-relief techniques to support their wellbeing.

In addition, carers will receive information on carers’ rights, benefits, and local support services available within the area.

While carers are participating in these activities, replacement care arrangements can be made either at the centre or in the carer’s home, where required.

The programme will run for 6 consecutive weeks.
