Could your confidence use a boost? Perhaps your life has changed since the pandemic, or there’s a personal goal you’d like to work towards. Whatever your goals are, we’re here to help you feel more like yourself again.

Reconnections is a new service which helps you improve your confidence, become more active, find out about local social groups and make new friends. It’s completely free and available to people living in South Wales.

The Reconnections team can help you:

Set personal goals
Improve your mobility with a Mobility Buddy
Make new friends through local social groups or a befriender
Get practical support to help you try new things and achieve your goals!
Please contact us if you’d like to find out more, or if you have any questions.

Would you like to get out and about more?
Our team of friendly, local volunteers can help you get more active in a way that suits you. We’ll pair you up with a Mobility Buddy who will work with you to improve your confidence in a safe environment, so you can be as independent as you want to be. Together you could:

Build up your confidence to use public transport
Spend time outdoors with short walks
Work towards a personal challenge or goal.
Has your confidence taken a knock?
The pandemic has had a huge impact on the deafblind community. If you’re feeling lonely, isolated or have stopped doing things you used to love because of your confidence, then talk to us. Our friendly Reconnections experts can support you to set up and work on your personal goals.
